Solving Team Dysfunction
There is one truth that threads every single one of our plights together - people.
Recently, I was asked by a Chief Operating Officer of one of the nations prominent professional sporting leagues
“Why can’t we execute the strategy we have put in place?”
This was quickly followed by…
“What is the gap?”
The answer was simple - People are behind everything. From Google, to The All Blacks, to that great family business down the road that has been there forever and are always busy. The thread is constant:
When the people are consistently functioning well with each other, everything else takes care of itself.
Achieving this is not simple thought.
The strongest leader I every worked under, Mette Haxthausen (Aveda London, and now Aveda UAE) once said to me:
“Staff are the biggest challenge and the biggest reward”
These words are forever tattooed on my mind.
My own managerial journey proved this to me. I found that as a leader I am nothing without the team I work with, and any kind of results are not attainable unless we work as one in the face of unending demands and obstacles.
I have taken my life’s experience of leading teams, and developed a body of work that solely aims to reduce Team Dysfunction. To turn cycles of struggle into rewarding sustainable cohesion.
Different to others: A 'Team 1st' Mentality
"When I walk into any room, no matter who is there or where we are, my mind goes directly to one place - how can this team of people come together for a positive outcome? I see the world in the context of 'team'. That is my superpower. I have a one track mind focused on the collective. As tribal animals constantly needing a sense of belonging, security, and purpose, this is a topic I devote my life to"

From Task Orientation to Proliferation
Elite Team Performance... It's an exciting aspiration and one I have immersed myself in throughout my life.
In my observations over many years I continue to see busy hard-working people struggle. Across multiple markets workers are mentally worn down and frustrated. It is industry agnostic to see frustration and inter-team politics restrict enjoyment, creativity, and achievement.
These struggles feed 'The Friction Cycle' - a never ending experience in the day-to-day of many organisations. This operational fire-fighting can be alleviated.
Building cultures overflowing with Readiness and Togetherness is my purpose. Using a practical approach mixed with inspiration and fresh energy I share tools to remove the friction.
Serving those desperate to develop unique high-performing team cultures, excellence, and connection in their organisations with lasting power.
